Why vegan?
What does Karmavore consider 100% vegan?
We adhere to the vegan definition of a person who avoids using and consuming animals and animal products for any purpose, including food, clothing, research, and entertainment. All products at Kamavore must not contain or be processed with any animal derived ingredients and must not be tested on animals. For example, we do not sell products containing bone char refined sugar, honey, dairy, eggs, animal flesh, or any other product that condones the exploitation of animals such as wool, silk, or beeswax.
What are your shipping rates?
Our shipping rates vary depending on the shipping method, shipment size, weight, and the exact destination. Please go through the checkout process on our site, and you will be presented with exact rates to choose from. We do not mark up our shipping rates, they are exactly what we pay Canada Post. We offer Expedited, Xpresspost, and Priority Courier shipping methods within Canada. Various options are available for USA and Worldwide orders.
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide, however some cold items are shipped only within Canada, and other very temperature sensitive items are only sold in-store. Refer to each product page to find out more about special shipping considerations
Is Karmavore Green?
Yes! We're happy to let you know that Karmavore hates waste! All of our packaging, cutlery, retail and bin bags are biodegradeable, and we also compost and recycle just about everything other than floor dust! We re-use packaging materials from our incoming shipments, recycle soft plastics such as shrink wrap, and do everything we can to make sure that nothing goes in the trash that can't be re-used, recycled, or composted! All of our cleaning products are also natural and biodegradable. We were also the proud winning recipient of the A-List's Most Green Conscious Retailer of 2011!
Can I order a cold item without a cold pack or slower shipping?
For safety reasons 1 day shipping is required as well as a cold pack. Additional cold packs are required for larger orders or orders that take 2 days. As product requirements vary, feel free to put through your order without worrying, as we review all orders and will contact you if a change is required. Please refer to our individual product pages for cold pack guidance
How long will it take to get my order?
We try our best to ship all orders out same or next business day, depending on the volume of our pending orders and the time the order is received in our system (cut off is generally 11am Pacific each day). During the online checkout, you will be able to see fairly accurate delivery dates based on the shipping method you select. Generally speaking, orders within BC will arrive next day provided the order is placed prior to 11am PST, and vary between 2-5 days throughout the Country based on your selected shipped method

How safe is my personal and credit card information?

Measurements and sizes vary as many are made with UK or EUR sizing,
therefore we have converted them based on manufacturers conversion tables. You may refer to our Shoe Sizing page to see these conversions!
Help me with shirt and clothing sizing!
Our Herbivore Clothing line uses American Apparel sizing. Our other clothing products vary, so simply Contact Us if you have any questions and we'll guide you as best as we can!
How do your Gift Cards work?
We have two options for Gift Cards, an in-store version and an online version. The online
gift cards are purchased through Paypal and must be used online. In-store gift cards carry our designs on swipeable cards that are intended to be used for in-store purchases, however, should you receive one and not be able to make it in-store, you may call us with the code on the back and we can put an order through over the phone and ship it to you!
When will you get more stock of ...
We try our best to keep all of our products well stocked, however if we have run out, you can click on the "Notify Me When Available" link on each product that shows "Sold Out", and you will be notified automatically once the items has been re-stocked
Can you do a custom order for me?
Not immediately and no guarantees, but we can keep your request on file and consider bringing it in whenever we do our next batch from the specific supplier, and notify you if we ever get it in. Simply send us an email or call us with your request
Can I request new products for you to carry?
Absolutely! Please let us know what products you are interested in, and we'll do our best! It may not be possible in many cases as we have to evaluate which products will be a good fit for the store, and also which are possible to acquire
Can you make a change to my order after I have placed it?
Changes to orders are not accepted. Once an order is packed, it can no longer be canceled/changed and our standard Return Policy then applies
